Breast implant safety consultation network

Resource available to ASPS members

In October 2019, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) launched a Breast Implant-Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (BIA-ALCL) Member Education and Resource Campaign. It includes a breast implant safety consultation network of ASPS members who have first-hand experience with BIA-ALCL clinical management and research.

ASPS members who have questions about BIA-ALCL presentation, diagnosis, treatment and management of the disease are encouraged to submit them to the ASPS Surgeon-to-Surgeon Breast Implant Safety Consultation Network. Subsequently, a member of the Surgeon-to-Surgeon Network will reach out directly to discuss. Learn more about this program and view other BIA-ALCL resources that ASPS provides.
