ESSO Webinar: Maze of Matrix
07 May, 2021 - Open
Venue: Online
Time: 6pm to 7pm CET
Aims of the webinar
There are a variety of biological meshes available for immediate breast reconstruction, with each making claims of benefits. There is a palpable shift toward pre-pectoral reconstructions and the very purpose of using expensive biologics is increasingly coming under question. Through this webinar, we aim to establish some clarity on the differences in the biologic meshes available as well as explore the indications of not using any meshes at all.
At the end of the webinar, participants will have a thorough understanding on the intricacies of Acellular Dermal Matrices and indications for their use in implant based breast reconstruction.
