Dr Joe Dusseldorp and Minas Chrysopoulo, MD, FACS join me in this interview to speak about a recently published paper in JPRAS, an international journal of surgical reconstruction. The topic is flap neurotization in autologous breast reconstruction. This systematic review looks at a promising solution to restore lost sensation of breasts after a mastectomy.

Dr. Joe is one of the authors of the paper. Dr. Joe and Dr. C have worked together in cross-continental collaboration sharing their techniques in DIEP flap reconstruction to improve sensation to the breast for those affected by breast cancer.
