Welcome to the 1st WSRM virtual education event.  This event is not being offered in place of the 11th WSRM World Congress, rather as an additional educational opportunity to our members and fellow surgeons.  We invite you to explore this page displaying the excellent program, speakers, registration, sponsors and registered attendees. 

This is a one-day event chaired by Drs. David Chang (USA), Jp Hong (South Korea) and Eric Santamaria (Mexico).  This program includes popular formats and timely topics “Tip & Tricks”, “Challenges for Young Microsurgeons”, Masters Section, Microsurgery Practice and “Best of the Best” competition. 

The WSRM, International Microsurgery Club and the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery are joining efforts to host a “Best of the Best” case competition to be presented during this virtual event. Members of WSRM that are interested in sharing their “best” case are asked to post their cases (done between January, 2020 – May, 2021) on the IMC Facebook page.  The top 5 cases with the most likes will go onto the finals and present during this event. The top 2 cases awarded during the June 12th meeting will be invited to present their case at the 11th WSRM World Congress June 1-4, 2022 in Cancun and published in the JRM special WSRM issue. To qualify one must be a WSRM member, case must have been done between January, 2020 – May, 2021 and MUST be submitted on the IMC Facebook page to be considered.
